Phillip has spent his career shaping and guiding the lives of young men and women in the public school system. He believes that education is the great equalizer of humanity. He believes that any child can grow to adulthood and become whatever their heart desires if they are willing to avail themselves of the opportunities provided by a good quality educational environment.
Phillip has been and is dedicated to transforming young lives through the education process. He believes that too many children are allowed to move through the school systems and step out into a world that they are not adequately prepared for. He has spent his career trying to make sure that this does not happen on his watch.
We all want a safe environment for our children and grandchildren to learn. thrive and succeed. Our neighborhoods have become dangerous places. I will fight to ensure that our schools will always be a safe zone for the kids in our community.
Our schools have been trailing other schools in Jefferson County academically. I will fight to ensure our tax dollars actually reach the classrooms so our teachers and students have the resources they need to learn, thrive and succeed.
The best way the children of our area learn, thrive and succeed is have parents be invested in our schools. A community partnership with parents and teachers is essential to improving our public school system.
Please share your thoughts on how we can improve education for our children and grandchildren in Jefferson County.
